Belgian consular posts are authorised to charge consular fees for their consular services (issuing identity cards, visas, certain documents, etc.).
These consular fees must be paid in local currency.
The current rates and exchange rates are regularly updated and are available on the website of the Ministry : Consular fees | FPS Foreign Affairs - Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation
Payment for consular operations
The Belgian Embassy in Lisbon only accepts payments :
- by multibanco (=multibanco/atm): for all applications of identity documents at the counter (please don’t carry out transfers for these services)
- by bank transfer to the Embassy’s consular account:
